TAO Desert Nights 2024 was a high-energy late-night event during Coachella weekend, bringing together music, nightlife, and culture into a single destination for festival audiences and industry attendees.
I led the creative direction and visual design for the event, developing a cohesive identity system designed for fast-paced digital environments and on-site visibility. The objective was to create a bold, recognizable presence that could stand out across crowded social feeds while remaining consistent with Tao Group Hospitality’s brand.
My scope included:
- Designing promotional and social campaign assets
- Developing the event’s visual identity and art direction
- Creating assets optimized for digital distribution and content capture
A key challenge was ensuring immediate visual impact in highly saturated, fast-scrolling social contexts. I addressed this by establishing a tight graphic system with strong typographic hierarchy, high-contrast compositions, and repeatable layout structures that maintained consistency across outputs.
The final system enabled scalable asset creation and ensured a consistent, recognizable presence across digital and on-site touchpoints throughout the event.
